Barcelona, beguiling in every way, from the streets thereof, to the many faces of Gaudi (La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell). Also this other UNESCO gem, Sant Pau. Oh, and the art! From museums honoring famed locals like Picasso and Miro, to the street art and graffiti around every corner. And we explored Castelling, a human pyramid thing that is a.maze.ing.
Madrid, including the streets thereof, a couple of workshops we took (cooking and iPhone photography) and an amazing Flamenco show.
Seville, a don’t-miss mixture of cultures and history with Moorish gems like the Alcazar, Casa de Pilatos, a ginormous Cathedral, and a Jewish tour we took. Lots of cool indoor stuff, including museums (flamenco, arts and traditions), and outdoor stuff (Las Setas, Plaza Espana). Oh, and bullfighting, which we tried and did.not.like.
